Domaine Rijckaert Vercherres 2020
Detailed info
Linked to Jean-Marie Guffens and Maison Verget until the end of the 1990s, Jean Rijckaert set out to create his own project and from the start split his time between his nine hectares located on two different regions: four hectares in mâconnais and five in Jura. He likes to remind people that his bottles are made to drink, not admire. This approach and know-how are now in the hands of Florent Rouve, hard at work with the help of the Collovray family to perpetuate the estate style in cuvees such as this one: round and featuring notes of pear, butter, white flowers, honey and dried fruits. The lesser-known side of Burgundy.
