Detailed info
«The 2009 La Mala is a single-vineyard Tempranillo, which has an incredible nose that jumps out of the glass: violets, spicy black oak, tantalizing and telluric, with notes of soil and an Atlantic character mixed with Mediterranean herbs. It has a medium-bodied palate with great freshness, acidity and length and pure, delineated flavors that stay in your mouth for ages, ending very spicy and earthy, almost saline. After two days opened, the wine keeps its vigor and its impressive nose, developing more nuances and changing by the minute. There is a bright,high-toned note of black pepper that keeps me going back to the glass. A great wine of strong personality. Superb.»
