«We thoroughly enjoyed the purity and tension of the 2011 vintage, and the 2012 is already even more expressive. Plenty of white flower, sweet spice, candied citrus and minerality throughout the wine, but with no over-assertion. The nose is deep and refined. The mouthfeel is oily and subtle. Very rarely is Viognier defined so beautifully so young. Plenty of length and persistence. The finish is lovely and saline, reinforcing the refreshing character. Hats off to the Château for its work. The 2012 is proof they are only getting better.
