Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 2014
Detailed info
Following training in oenology, Anne-Claude Leflaive had a hand in this family business in Puligny-Montrachet starting in 1990. She championed a biodynamic approach, undertaking a serious campaign to improve quality on 20 hectares of the estate. These wines pack great emotion, with a pronounced minerality and an almost surreal precision. Anne-Claude Leflaive unfortunately passed away in 2015. Her nephew Brice de la Morandière, assisted by a seasoned team, now heads the estate.
«There is good detail and a pretty touch of minerality that comes through on the solidly well-concentrated flavors that culminate in a lovely finish of fine depth and length. This is a lovely Puligny Villages and worth considering.»
