Domaine Méo-Camuzet Corton Grand Cru Les Perrières 2015
Detailed info
Henri Jayer, a legendary personality in the region, took care of the estate's vines until his retirement in 1988. A distant member of the Camuzet family, Jean-Nicolas Méo is presently responsible for the 17.5-hectare estate in Vosne-Romanée, and he continues to be inspired by the advice given to him by the famous winemaker, who passed away in 2006.
«This is markedly more floral on the equally cool and airy red and dark currant scents that are also laced with discreet spice and earth nuances. There is excellent intensity and power to the broad-shouldered flavors that deliver even more minerality on the impressively complex and persistent finish.... Patience will be required.»
