Joseph Drouhin Chassagne Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot Marquis de Laguiche 2014
Detailed info
The roots of this estate go back to the 19th century. Currently, the fourth generation of the Drouhin family is at the helm. The estate covers 90 appellations, from Chablis to the mâconnais, two-thirds of which are Grands and Premiers Crus. These are wines with finesse and elegance.
«It has a very seductive bouquet with a hint of licorice in the background, detailed and gaining intensity in the glass.... There is compelling energy here-this Chassagne just flows across the mouth and the finish is so vivid. By far and away, this is the best Chassagne-Morgeot that I have tasted from Marquis de Laguiche/Drouhin.»
