Rossignol-Trapet Beaune 1er cru Teurons 2014
Detailed info
Domaine Trapet was split in two in 1990 when Jean Trapet and his brother-in-law Jacques Rossignol retired. The Domaine Rossignol-Trapet estate is now run by Jacques» sons David and Nicolas Rossignol, who quickly converted to biodynamic growing processes, and now all their parcels of land are Demeter certified. Their wines show a dense, silky and frank character.
«Biodynamic. Bright lightish crimson. Fine, red-fruited Beaune sweetness on the nose. Delicate and inviting. Gentle but not wimpy-there's freshness, gentle but definite tannins, and a caressingly fruity finish. Lightish overall but GV (good value).»
