Bernard Dugat-Py Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Petite Chapelle 2014
Detailed info
A 13th-generation winegrower, Bernard Dugat has made wines at the estate since 1975. His family history at Gevrey-Chambertin goes back to the 17th century. The estate which has old Pinot Noir vines was entirely converted to organic production in 2013 and produces dense, concentrated and colourful wines that age sumptuously.
«There is excellent minerality to the vibrant and intense middle-weight flavors that possess a chiseled mouth feel on the relatively powerful and driving finale. This possesses outstanding depth, and I very much like the upside aging potential here, though once again note that this is going to need plenty of time.» – - BURGHOUND.COM
