A proud defender of artisan winemaking and terroir, Hubert de Montille preferred finesse, freshness and authenticity in his wines. Following his passing in November 2014, he left his son Étienne, already in charge of the estate since 1995, and his daughter Alix to continue to produce the estate's wines with the same conviction and values.
«Sappy and extremely concentrated - hugely rich without any impression of heaviness.... Boasts outstanding breadth and sap but will need considerable cellaring. Finishes with chewy but refined tannins and slowly building savory length. Grand Cru quality here.»
