Louis Latour Criots Bâtard Montrachet Grand Cru 2014
Detailed info
Though the Latour family have owned vines in Côte de Beaune since 1731, it wasn't until 1797 that this illustrious Beaune estate came into being. This is an estate that has always understood innovation and modernization, and today, under the leadership of Louis-Fabrice Latour, 11th-generation winegrower, it continues to be a hub for Burgundian winemaking.
«An overtly ripe and ever-so-mildly exotic nose willingly offers up a hint of honeysuckle on the dense and well-layered nose that combines with white and yellow orchard fruit with those of spice and petrol nuances. There is once again excellent volume to the muscular and concentrated large-scaled flavors that coat the palate with sap on the tension and citrusy finale.»
