" The 2014 Clos Martinet, a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from a warmish vineyard, feels riper than the 2013. It had black rather than red fruit, and it also showed a lactic touch. The palate is quite powerful, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins but has better integrated oak, as it's matured in larger volume casks, and also in cement and clay amphorae."
