«The textbook Chenin Blanc 2013 La Calma benefitted from a cooler growing season and shows quite fresh, delicate and fine. The giveaway aromas of honey and honeysuckle are already there together with hints of quince and hay. The palate combines volume and length, great freshness and a mineral-driven finish. This is up there with the 2010 at the helm of the best vintages ever produced. This wine has a track record for aging superbly, gaining in nuances, depth and complexity with a few years in bottle, and 2013 should be no exception.»
