    Engineer Dick Erath has set his sights on Oregon in search of the perfect terroir to grow the Pinot Noir varietal, and settled on Dundee, in the Willamette Valley, to plant his first vines in 1969. Today, the Ste-Michelle Wines Estate, is lead by winemaker Gary Horner who signs a Pinot Noir full of ripe fruit mixed with notes of vanilla and chocolate.
