Its name refers to an injury once common among maltsters, whose arm, worn out by manual labor, hung down like a monkey's. On the nose, it seduces with notes of orange zest, sweet vanilla and honey, enhanced by a touch of woody spices. The palate, unctuous and malty, reveals accents of butterscotch, red fruits and dried apricot, with a hint of buttery toast.
