Du Plevaux Elizabeth Albertha Chenin Blanc Viognier Imbuko 2018
Detailed info
Although it's of Loire origin, Chenin Blanc is almost twice as present in South Africa. Formerly known as Steen, it was introduced by the Huguenots who found refuge there in the 17th century. Its fruity and floral character is expressed in this blend to which Viognier adds an interesting tropical dimension. The wine has a nice acidity and a caressing texture.
