Aiming at expressing South-African terroir through cuvées produced in small batches, Bryan MacRobert set up his human-scale winery in 2007. This cuvée showcases Syrah grown in Abbotsdale, Swartland, which grapes were hand-picked and raised in stainless steel tanks. The wine displays aromas of black fruits such as plum and blackberry, as well as subtle smoky and vegetal notes. Medium-bodied, it unveils itself in a supple and accessible structure.
