Combier-Fischer-Gerin L’Infernal Aguilera 2010
Detailed info
“Top of its range, the 2010 Aguilera is a wine that used to be known as 2/3. It is a single-vineyard Cariñena from a centenary vineyard of head-pruned vines on slate soils. It fermented in plastic bins with indigenous yeasts and matured in used French oak barrels for 18 months and then spent six years in bottle. It has notes of beef blood and iron, with a lot of freshness, some development and nuance. It has balance, freshness, concentration, power and a certain elegance. It's aging slowly.”
