You're not mistaken, we're really talking about a Tempranillo cuvée... on Italian soil! While certain parcels of the estate feature ideal conditions for this grape variety, the result is eloquent in the glass: deep robe giving off powerful aromas of black cherry, mocha coffee and liquorice. The mouth is fleshy and has pulpous tannins. A nice specimen to discover!
