«Moderate reduction doesn't seem permanent though it does knock down the underlying fruit. There is excellent mid-palate concentration to the big, very rich and concentrated flavors that display a markedly round and suave mouthfeel, all wrapped in a powerful if somewhat youthfully awkward and warm finish. I very much like the overall depth and length and my sense is, and particularly so given this wine's impeccable track record, that it will ultimately harmonize much more completely.»
