Stanislao Radikon was a great ambassador of the revival of white maceration wines (orange wines) in the 1990s. He has had an undeniable influence on the international natural wine landscape, and today his son Saša is taking over at the legendary estate located in Friuli. For the 2015 Jakot vintage, he continues his father's tradition with a long maceration of three and a half months, followed by four years of aging in Slavonian oak botti and then one year in the bottle. In the glass, a coppery color and complex aromas of roasted almonds and tropical fruits, followed by a nice bitterness and a long finish.
