Round and fatty, this California Chardonnay benefits from an élevage on lees, which contributes to its structure and rather charming aromatic profile. A quarter of the cuvée was aged in oak casks, bringing a certain complexity to an ensemble marked by scents of pear, peach and Golden delicious apple. The added notes of brioche, vanilla and butter make it a perfect pairing for baked salmon or creamy mushroom risotto.
