“The 2015 Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim is very intense, precise and deep on the nose, and is more cool, spicy and earthy than the fruity 2014, displaying some green olive, avocado, tropical fruit and lemon flavors. The 2015 is full-bodied, sweet, finessed and elegant on the palate, provided with fine tannins, a good mineral grip and a stimulating bitterness in the finish. It is complex, refined and elegant at the same time, very long and alluring. From this warm vintage this is a really stunning, gorgeous and seductive wine and a great argument for the field blend.”
