Frank Cornelissen Munjebel Terre Siciliane 2022

An emblematic Sicilian figure, Frank Cornelissen works his vineyard and his wines with a minimum of intervention. Locally called "Mongibello" or "Munjebel", the volcano Etna gives its name to the cuvées of the property, each one as singular as the next. Formerly vinified as an orange wine, this cuvée with equal parts of grecanico dorato and carricante benefits from a shorter maceration and a 16-month aging in tanks. Both dense and elegant, it develops beautiful accents of apricot, honey and orange. Superb!
