“A distinctly earthy and peppery nose is comprised primarily of ripe dark berries and a suggestion of spice, especially anise. There is fine density to the delicious and vibrant medium-bodied flavors that possess a plush yet punchy mouthfeel while exhibiting good power and length on the robust and mildly rustic finish. This is very Boudriotte in character and worth a look. Note that while this should easily reward a decade plus of aging, it should be approachable after 5-ish years.”
