“The 2019 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru Clos des Hospices comes from 45- to 60-year-old vines that yielded 40hl this year, and is matured in a mixture of 1- to 4-year-old barrels. It has a gorgeous bouquet of honeysuckle, yellow flowers, crushed stone and light quince aromas. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and crisp, with touches of almond and dried honey toward the persistent finish. Superb.”
