Alban Michel founded Les Sabots d’Hélène in 2005 and cultivates 8 hectares in the village of Feuilla, near the Corbières massif. He trained with several natural winemakers in the Rhône Valley, which helped him gain a strong understanding of organic viticulture. The Pogo cuvée is made from carignan, grenache, syrah, cinsault, and macabeu, with minimal intervention from the vineyard to the bottle.
