The Nikka Nine Decades

Nikka and its first distillery, Yoichi, celebrated their 90th anniversary in 2024. For several years, the SAQ has received anniversary editions preparing for the arrival of this ultimate tribute: Nine Decades. Its name says it all: Nine decades of whiskies blended to celebrate Nikka's know-how. The bottle rests in a magnificent varnished wooden case including a souvenir booklet. A rare product on the market: Only 4,000 bottles. 2,000 for Japan, the other half for export. 24 bottles found their way to the SAQ network. The tasting is a long moment of meditation. Complex, multidimensional, the evolving notes are carried by the grain and a peat framework full of finesse and power.
