"Once again there is plenty of smoky character suffusing the slightly cooler aromas of green apple, lemon rind, spice and a hint of exotic tea. There is excellent cut and solid mid-palate concentration to the markedly more mineral-driven flavors that possess an even sleeker mouthfeel, all wrapped in a chiseled, youthfully austere and impressively long finish that displays focused power. This is quite tightly wound and a wine that is going to need at least some patience."
