- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) spiced rum
- 15 ml (1/2 oz.) anise-flavoured liqueur (like pastis)
- 1 drop of tabasco
- Sparkling cider
- 1 thin apple slice
- 1 star anise
Combine rum and anise-flavoured liqueur in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into a martini glass using an ice strainer.
Add tabasco.
Top up with sparkling cider.
Garnish with an apple slice and star anise.
