Domaine Belle Les Pierrelles Crozes-Hermitage 2020
Detailed info
Domaine Belle covers today 25 hectares of vine in northern Rhône Valley. The current owner, Philippe Belle, signs elegant, refined and powerful cuvees from the appellation zones of Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Crozes Hermitage. The latter was added to the patrimony in 2006 following the acquisition of a small surrounding estate. Born from a vineyard under organic conversion, this Syrah displays lovely maturity and reveals notes of black fruits like blackberry, but also a torrefaction note from its casks élevage, along with this undeniable and oh-so typical peppery note. Drink through 2023.
