Terre Rouge Sierra Foothills Noir 2011
Detailed info
Located in the Sierra Foothills, this estate, very popular here in Quebec, specializes in Rhône varietal-based wines. The Terre Rouge wine selection gets its name from the mix of volcanic and granite soils typical to the region. Noir cuvee is the estate's most famous and is made of Grenache (42%), Mourvèdre (36%) and Syrah (22%). The ample red features scents of nutmeg and tobacco, and is rather open. Ready to be uncorked.
