  • 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) almond liqueur (0.5% alcohol or less)
  • 15 ml (1/2 oz.) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • Sugar for glass
  • Ice cubes
  • A half lime slice

Rim an old-fashioned glass with granulated sugar.

Combine the almond liqueur, lemon juice and granulated sugar in a shaker filled with ice cubes.

Shake vigorously 8 to 10 seconds.

Strain into an old-fashioned glass containing a few ice cubes using an ice strainer.

Garnish with half lime slice.

 

Pro tip

For something a little different, try using 30 ml (1 oz.) of Rose’s Lime Cordial instead of the lemon juice and sugar.
