  • 150 ml (5 oz.) stout beer
  • 30 ml (1 oz.) Irish whiskey
  • 120 ml (4 oz.) white cranberry juice
  • A splash of green mint syrup
  • Ice cubes

Combine the whiskey, cranberry juice and mint syrup in a shaker filled with ice cubes.

Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.

Strain into a beer glass using an ice strainer.

Slowly add the beer, pouring it down the side of the glass to create a layered cocktail.

 

Pro tip:

Heads up! One of the characteristics of stout is its creamy head of foam, which preserves the flavours and makes them that much more enjoyable.
