- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) vodka
- 1/2 lime cut into wedges
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) sugar
- 2 or 3 crushed ice cubes

Place the lime wedges and the sugar in an old-fashioned glass and crush using a muddler.
Add the crushed ice cubes.
Pour in the vodka.
Stir using a mixing spoon.
