Did you know:
One of the world's most popular cocktails, this drink was put together in a Havana bar during Cuba's second War of Independence (1895—1898). A captain entered the establishment and ordered a shot of rum, a side of Coca-Cola and a slice of lime. When a group of soldiers asked him to make a toast, he raised his glass and offered the war cry that had so effectively motivated his troops, «¡Cuba libre!»
