Difficult to pair for some, orange wine reveals itself when accompanied by well-chosen cheeses. With its notes of hay and its more farmhouse profile, the Alderney appreciates the flavours of orange peel, spices, mandarin and peach pit from the Coteau Rougemont Versant. A welcome freshness that cuts into the fat of this washed rind cheese for a most successful pairing.
