Preparation
Franc-Gilles is a farmhouse cheese with a washed rind and aromas of butter, mushroom, and roasted notes, reminiscent of toasted hazelnut. Its character and firm texture call for a wine that can refresh without overpowering. The dry rosé from Domaine Inselberg, with its finesse, offers lively acidity, notes of red berries, and a hint of floral notes. A pleasant pairing that will brighten up picnics or light meals shared on the terrace.
Other possible pairings: Fruity and vibrant white wine, Fruity and light rosé, blonde beer.
