For a successful cheese platter that will leave nobody hungry, we suggest these quantities depending on the serving occasion. If you’re serving several, divide the quantity by the number of cheeses chosen.
Tasting: 50 g per person
Appetizer: 90 g per person
Meal: 200 g per person
Preparation
This cheese with lactic and fruity aromas forms a natural union with a wine from the Fruity and vibrant taste tag with a floral accent. With this idea in mind, the Gewürztraminer grape variety, vinified as a dry wine by the Domaine des Côtes D'Ardoise, could not be better! Perfectly representative without being too exuberant, as its Alsatian namesakes can be, it has everything to please in addition to being light in alcohol.
Other possible pairings: brut cider, orange wine.
