Preparation
Pikauba, a washed-rind cheese from Lac-Saint-Jean, seduces with its supple texture, generous aromas of butter, hazelnut, and a delicate fruity touch. To enhance it, the La Côte Chardonnay from the Coteau Rougemont vineyard, aged partially in barrels, brings a beautiful roundness, notes of orchard fruits, citrus, and wood. The pairing is perfect: the richness of the cheese marries the ample texture of the wine, while the acidity and woody notes of the Chardonnay balance everything. A combination of finesse and harmony.
Other possible pairings: brut sparkling wine, Fruity and medium-bodied red or rosé wine, honey wine.
