Mojito Bongo

- 30 ml (1 oz.) citrus-flavoured rum
- Sparkling wine
- 30 ml (1 oz.) lime juice
- 15 ml (1/2 oz.) sugar cane syrup (simple syrup)
- 6 to 8 leaves of fresh mint
- Ice cubes
Combine rum, lime juice, syrup and 3 mint leaves in a shaker filled with ice.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into a martini glass using an ice strainer.
Top up with sparkling wine.
Garnish with the remaining mint leaves on a cocktail pick.
