New York Sour
- 60 ml (2 oz.) bourbon
- 30 ml (1 oz.) lemon juice
- 25 ml (3/4 oz.) simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 8 ml (1/4 oz.) red wine
- Ice cubes
- Lemon zest
Combine all the ingredients except the red wine in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into an old-fashioned glass containing a few ice cubes using an ice strainer.
Gently top with red wine using a mixing spoon.
Garnish with lemon zest.
