- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) cognac
- 1 dash citrus liqueur (like blue curaçao)
- 90 ml (3 oz.) white cranberry juice
- 8 ml (1/4 oz.) orgeat syrup* (optional)
- Ice cubes
Combine the cranberry juice and orgeat syrup in a shaker filled with ice cubes.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into an old-fashioned glass containing a few ice cubes using an ice strainer.
If desired, garnish with a cocktail umbrella.
* Orgeat syrup is available in better grocery stores, or can be replaced by 8 ml simple syrup mixed with 2 drops of almond extract.
