Apple and Spice
- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) dry gin
- 200 ml (6 2/3 oz.) apple juice
- 2 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 piece of lemon zest
- 1 splash of maple syrup
- 2 apple slices
Combine the apple juice, cloves, one cinnamon stick and the lemon zest in a saucepan.
Heat over low heat until hot.
Add the dry gin.
Stir using a mixing spoon.
Pour into a toddy glass and add the maple syrup.
Garnish with the cinnamon stick and apple slices.
