This cocktail, which offers the perfect blend of strong, sweet and sour tastes, was created in 1931 by Harry MacElhone, a popular bartender in London and Paris. A survivor of World War I, he dubbed the cocktail the «Sidecar» as a tribute to his former captain, who always used this form of transportation.
