Thallini

- 30 ml (1 oz.) rum and coconut beverage
- 60 ml (2 oz.) white grapefruit juice
- 15 ml (1/2 oz.) mirin* (optional)
- 5 leaves basil (or Thai basil)
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 sprig basil
- 1 white grapefruit slice
Place the basil leaves in a shaker and crush coarsely using a pestle.
Add the ice cubes.
Also add the rum and coconut beverage, pineapple juice and mirin.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into a champagne glass using an ice strainer.
Garnish with a sprig of basil and a grapefruit slice.
Pro tip:
* Mirin is available in grocery stores.
