Marinades for meat in 3 versions
Ingredients
Fruit Marinade:
- 250 ml (1 cup) very finely chopped(almost to a purée) pineapple
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) chili paste
- Zest and juice of 1 medium-sized orange
- 5 ml (1 tsp) salt
Creamy Marinade:
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) peanut butter
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) lime juice
- 30 ml (2 tbsp) chili paste
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) grated ginger
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) kosher salt
French Marinade:
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) dry white wine
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) chopped parsley
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
- 5 ml (1 tsp) salt
- Freshly ground pepper
Preparation
Fruit Marinade:
In a bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Let stand for 30 minutes. Shake off any excess marinade before grilling the meat.
