- 120 mL (4 oz) Vodka
- 120 mL (4 oz) blackcurrant liqueur
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 4 ice cubes + 750 mL (3 cups) crushed ice
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) basil leaves

Fill 4 old-fashioned glasses with crushed ice.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, blackcurrant liqueur, ice cubes, basil leaves and lemon juice.
Shake vigorously for one minute. Strain through a sieve into the four glasses.
