Voodoo

- 45 ml (1 1/2 oz.) amber rum
- 100 ml (3 1/3 oz.) pure apple juice
- 20 ml (2/3 oz.) red vermouth
- 10 ml (1/3 oz.) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 10 ml (1/3 oz.) sugar cane syrup (simple syrup)
- Ice cubes
Combine ingredients and ice cubes in a shaker.
Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds.
Strain into a highball glass using an ice strainer.
