Far from the big estates of Reims, Ruppert-Leroy farm is located five kilometers from Burgundy in Aube, on Côte des Bar. Born from the Fosse-Grely parcel and grown using biodynamic principles, this cuvee is equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Aged on lees in tanks for nine months and «sur lattes» for 22 months, it is bottled with little to no addition of sulfur dioxide. It features enough tension to wake up the palate, along with accents of ripe apple, white flowers and hazelnut. One to watch!
