    The philosophy behind Jim Barry's wines is quite simple: to own the vineyards in order to develop the best possible fruit and be present at all stages of winemaking. Launched in 1959 with his wife Nancy, this estate is now in the hands of their children since the death of Jim in 2004. The tannin refinement, ampleness and length of the cuvee are a testament to the great care provided to the Cabernet Sauvignon vines from Clare Valley and from a vineyard previously used as a cricket field in Coonawarra.
